CrossFit Emergence Terms & Conditions


This document defines the terms and conditions of your membership and participation at CrossFit Emergence.

MEMBERSHIP

By signing up for membership, you have agreed to a recurring monthly membership auto-pay. Memberships are billed in one-month increments. Memberships are paid in full at the start of each billing cycle.

Membership rates are subject to change at any time with 30 days notice.

 

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

We will be sorry to see you go! Memberships may be canceled at any time via Wodify.  However please get in touch with us as we can assist with this process if needs be.

We do not refund memberships. Once a membership has been billed, it is non-refundable. Athletes are subject to the current membership rate if canceled and choose to return at a later date.

CONDUCT & DUTY OF CARE

YOUR CONDUCT

Our aim is to create and foster a positive community between all of our customers and athletes.  To do so we are relying on you to be part of this community.  We expect all customers and athletes to treat the facility, its equipment and the team and other athletes with respect.  Disruptive, abusive or nuisance behaviour will not be tolerated.  CrossFit Emergence has a zero abuse policy (including physical and verbal abuse).  In the interests of staff and athlete safety as well as maintaining a positive and health driven facility CrossFit Emergence has a zero Drugs and Alcohol policy.

Any breach of the above expectations will result in your removal from the facility and likely loss of membership/future access to the facility without refund.

OUR CONDUCT

We expect our staff team and any officially contracted individuals to uphold the same expectations as we ask of our customers.  We aim to provide a safe and fun environment to the highest professional status of excellence.  If you feel that this is not being upheld or have concerns please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team.  We will endeavour to facilitate an environment for you to express your concerns appropriately.

 

YOUR DUTY OF CARE

In addition to the conduct expectations we ask that you take care of yourself and others around you.  The Health and Safety whether in an activity session or not is vitally important to us so please do not hesitate to talk with us if you see something that concerns you.  If you are unsure of anything you’re doing in the CrossFit Emergence facility or when participating in activities operated by CrossFit Emergence please stop what you’re doing and let us know.

 

OUR DUTY OF CARE

In addition to the conduct expectations we will provide as a staff team we are obligated to ensure our facility and services are fit for purpose.  We aim to do so at all times and welcome any opportunity to improve our standards.

 

WODIFY AND CLASS SIGN-UP POLICIES

 

CLASS SIGN-UP

All athletes must sign-up on Wodify in order to attend class. Upon arrival, athletes are responsible for signing into class. Failure to sign in will count as a late cancel.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require all athletes to sign-up for classes in advance. We view a class reservation as an appointment that has been made with CrossFit Emergence, the coaches, and the other athletes in that hour. If an athlete cannot make it to their scheduled appointment, we require that they cancel from that class on Wodify TWELVE HOURS prior to the class start time. Failure to cancel outside of the TWELVE hours will result in a Late Cancel. If you know you are not able to make a class at any time please respect your fellow athletes and cancel your reservation to allow someone else to take the class spot.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY

While we understand that life, work, and responsibilities sometimes get in the way of class attendance, this does not happen all the time.  We stand by a three strikes rule; therefore repeat offenders of late cancellations and no-shows will be charged a £10 fee for each offence beyond the third occurrence on their current membership.

AVAILABILITY OF FACILITY

 

LIMITED AVAILABILITY

On occasion, CrossFit Emergence may change Facility hours or close for selected holidays and seminars. CrossFit Emergence may change, discontinue, repair, or replace any part or all of the Facility without any effect on this Agreement. If any of the Facility is unavailable for more than 7 days for any reason, except acts of nature, CrossFit Emergence will extend membership, without Dues, for the same period the Facility was unavailable.

 

LIMITED USE

If you know, should know, or develop a circumstance that might prevent you from using CrossFit Defiance (i.e., medical or family emergency, travel, business travel, vacation, job change, pregnancy, injury, etc…) and you have agreed to this; you agree that your membership is limited accordingly. You also agree that you still must pay your monthly dues as if you could use the Facility; there will be no carry-over of monthly dues into subsequent months for any time unspent using the Facility in a previous month.

OPERATIONS

 

RIGHT TO REFUSE

CrossFit Emergence has the right to revoke or deny membership to any individual who fails to live up to the standards and commitments of CrossFit Emergence.

 

LOST/STOLEN ITEM POLICY

CrossFit Emergence cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of personal items left in the gym, outside the gym, or in the cars parked on our premises. Lost and Found articles not claimed after 15 days will be donated to charity or thrown away.

CROSSFIT EMERGENCE Ltd PRIVACY POLICY

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number,

You directly provide CrossFit Emergence Ltd. with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our website.
  • Enter information on our messaging and social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook etc.)
CrossFit Emergence Ltd. collects your data so that we can:
  • Process your order and manage your account.
  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
  • Provide specific fitness related updates and progress recording.

How we store your data:

  • CrossFit Emergence Ltd. securely stores your data on the Wodify platform.

CrossFit Emergence Ltd. would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request CrossFit Emergence Ltd. for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that CrossFit Emergence Ltd. correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request CrossFit Emergence Ltd. to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that CrossFit Emergence Ltd. erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that CrossFit Emergence Ltd. restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to CrossFit Emergence Ltd’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that CrossFit Emergence Ltd. transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
